On November 21, 2022 (Monday) at 09:00 a.m., a seminar for the Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRT) will be held in the Triaditsa Hall of the Grand Sofia Hotel. The seminar is held within the framework of the project "Building capacity and improving the services of CERT Bulgaria (CBSEC-BG)", number 2018-BG-IA-0114.
The project "Capacity Building and Services Enhancement of CERT Bulgaria" (CBSEC-BG) is implemented according to contract No. INEA/CEF/ICT/A2018/1801024 for the provision of grant-in-aid under procedure CEF-TC-2018-3.
The aim of the project is to increase the capacity of CERT Bulgaria (the National Computer Security Incident Response Team), both by providing the necessary technical tools and by increasing the qualification, knowledge and skills of the team to meet the challenges in the field of cyber security .
Upon successful implementation of the project, the requirements of Directive 2016/1148 of the European Parliament and of the Council regarding measures for a high general level of security of networks and information systems in the Union and of the Cybersecurity Act of the Republic of Bulgaria will be met.
The main activities within the project are:
– Construction of a center for national and international exercises in the field of cyber security;
– Construction of a laboratory for the analysis of malicious software;
– Construction of a forensic laboratory;
– Building a National Network of Computer Security Incident Response Teams to share information on cybersecurity risks, threats and vulnerabilities;
– Joining the core services platform of the European Cyber Security Incident Response Teams Network (MeliCERTes Core Services Platform) for international cooperation in the field of cyber security;
– Development of a system for monitoring and storage of materials related to network and information security.
